The Maple Leaf Party of Canada is raised for logic-based, open-source, fully auditable government — for citizens, and for the Canadian dollar, first.
What we are
- A draft federal party that leads with method — Universal Decision Logic and open books. Specific laws stay under debate until they survive that method in public.
- Rooted in equal citizenship and a state you may audit with your own eyes.
- Spoken in both of Canada’s public languages, English and French.
How we work
- Policy written to be read, tested, and costed — not waved like a flag and forgotten.
- Federal and provincial power named without fog. Hospitals and grade curriculum stay provincial; Ottawa’s top line is tax, ledger, Criminal Code, border, federal contracts and transfers.
- The public repo is the prototype: platform, government model, and strategy notes. That is deliberate radical transparency — including files that look calculating. Challenge them in the open.
Registration — the actual gate
Not registered with Elections Canada. The gap is not “mood” or paperwork theatre. To apply as an eligible party you need, among other things:
- A leader and at least three other officers with signed consent
- A chief agent and an auditor
- At least 250 electors who declare membership
- A privacy policy filed with the application
- Name clearance
Full registration additionally requires a confirmed candidate. Public counter (updated by hand until the national platform exists):

When those numbers move, this page moves. We will not wear a title we have not earned.
Leadership
A real party needs named humans who sign. Anonymous “when people of flesh are ready” is not defensible once you ask the public for trust. Named leader and officers will be published on this page before any Elections Canada filing — with real bios, not titles without faces.
Until officers are named, this site does not run a silent mailing list. Interest goes only through contact@mapleleafparty.ca (your mail app). If you will not put a name on a project, that is information about the project — we take that seriously.
We propose open, auditable government and a public decision method. Policy conclusions are still under debate.
